This coffee originated from Yirgacheffe in Ethiopia, where wild native coffee plants are farmed. Thus the harvesting process can only be performed through manual labour, and only 1/4 of the harvest will eventually be selected. Its mild floral scent and balanced acidity confer Yirgacheffe coffee with a royal flair, and it is known by many as the best coffee of Ethiopia.
Description of taste: A glaringly floral and lemon scent, rich but gentle acidity, layers of taste progress from sour to sweet and then to a lingering saccharine aftertaste. Almost tastes like enjoying a cup of tea; both elegant and unrestrained, the Japanese call it the "Queen of Coffee"
